This collection consists of photographs of thoroughbred horses and their caretakers from Westerly Stud Farms and California Thoroughbred Consultants, Rollin W. Baugh horse cataloges, one copy of Thoroughbred Record Magazine from September 1979, and personal photographs and newspaper clippings.

Phyllis Lambert was an "out" lesbian while she worked in a conservative, male-dominated field as the Auction Sales Manager for California Thoroughbred Consultants. She handled innumerable dispersals of Thoroughbred horses.
