Patricia (Pat) Gargaetas was a photographer who lived in California. The bulk of this collection includes prints and negatives of Gargaetas's photography, featuring primarily portraits of women from the 1970s. Other materials include personal documents, poems written by Gargaetas, interview transcripts and questionnaires for her master's thesis, articles and clippings, books on lesbianism, buttons, clothes, and various ephemera.
