Biographical Note

Barbara Faye Dillworth (1942-2015) was an artist, songwriter, cartoonist, poet, pilot and puppeteer. She was born in Alabama and grew up in Mississippi. She became a professor of English and Creative Writing at Golden West Community College in Huntington Beach, California.

Dillworth was an active member of the Lesbian community and contributed to the L-Word newsletter and created theatrical and musical productions.
