Christy Amschler Collection
Janice Baker Photographs
Janice Baker is a feminist lesbian mixed media artist living and working in California, Oregon and Washington. The collection contains Baker’s photography, mostly from the early 1980s, capturing the women’s movement at public events and intimate gatherings.
Gay Block Collection
Gay Block (b. 1942) is a celebrated photographer whose portrait photography is recognized all over the world. The collection includes DVDs of her published works, and an unpublished draft edition as well as a signed published edition of her photography book, Bertha Alyce: Mother exPosed.
Dr. Marie Cartier Collection
Marie Cartier (b. 1965) is a teacher, poet, writer, healer, artist, activist and facilitator. She also has a first degree black belt in karate. She currently teaches at the University of California Irvine in the Film Department, and at CSU Northridge in the Women's Studies Department. The materials include student projects from her Queer Studies class at CSUN, her dissertations and research, LGBT and feminist materials, and resources and research on abuse.
Pat Gargaetas Collection
Patricia (Pat) Gargaetas was a photographer who lived in California. The bulk of this collection includes prints and negatives of Gargaetas's photography, featuring primarily portraits of women from the 1970s. Other materials include personal documents, poems written by Gargaetas, interview transcripts and questionnaires for her master's thesis, articles and clippings, books on lesbianism, buttons, clothes, and various ephemera.

The collection consists of personal papers from filmmaker Rosser Goodman and material from the Film Fatale film screenings across Los Angeles including the PALMS bar and Outfest, which she helped organize.
Patricia Lamis Collection
Patricia (Pat) A. Lamis (1947-2023) was an interior designer, writer, and lesbian community organizer in Long Beach, California. The bulk of the collection contains newsletters, publications, and photographs related to Womynz Brunch Bunch, Orange County / Long Beach Blade Magazine, and the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Greater Long Beach. Other materials in the collection are personal photographs, correspondence, and professional work from her desktop publishing company, Lamis Ink.
